Hot Dogs

Tonight, after literally some planning and spirited discussion, we had our first real family dinner. If you wander through the streets of Copenhagen, well, at all, you will be immediately struck by the fleets of hotdog vendors. So we denizens of Skindergade 40 figured there could be no more Danish dish to make than a hotdog with all the vernacular fixings. By far our most intelligent decision to date.
Credit to www.bbq.fiedler.dk. I was far too excited to eat to muck about taking pictures of these masterpieces.
Here's what you need:
  • Foot long Danish hotdogs
  • Rolls
  • Pickle slices
  • Mustard
  • Sandwich ketchup- some strange concoction that is much sweeter than anything we'd call ketchup at home.
  • Remoulade (Not my cup of tea. Consider this optional.)
  • Bacon bits
  • Deep fried breaded onions
Place hotdog in roll as usual. Apply liquid condiments. Add dry garnishes. Devour. Repeat until you explode.
